More is, err less | Musings on Education

As we wait for the political and journalistic beavers to, well beaver away and process the 2014 A-level results, I thought I’d throw this graph out there:

This chart shows where a school’s cohort went for their post-16 education.

I imagine, that the creators of this chart wanted it to show how much better than the average where the destinations of their young people. And to a point it does.

Except:
What does the legend for pink and green bars actually mean? %age of students achieving A levels at grades AAB or higher (in at least 2 facilitating subjects) — eh??Why pick…
