Pondering the thoughts surrounding Ofsted’s “we’re interested in whether teachers follow the school’s marking policy not what the policy is”

So.  First define marking, which is different to feedback.  I’m going to say that marking is a non-ephemeral form of feedback, as a written comment or similar.

And I was wondering whether a whole school marking policy should be the same for Drama and PE compared to Science and Maths, and whether subject which are seen less frequently, like RE, should be given less to do than say English which is seen more often.
