…from glitzy flash cards to glittering success (hopefully)

After a disastrous test (for some kids at least) and having seen the paucity of revision, I thought I would use a vastage of technology to show students how they can make better use of the ubiquitous flash cards.

A six marker essay question was on stem cells. The answers which came out were detail-light and technical term-poor.  As a biology teacher, you know that both of these will result in your students getting low C or D grade (or in new money) a grade 4 or 3 .
